Bonim Jerushalajm Logo

I was tasked with creating the logo for the 2023 edition of Machane Bonim Jerushalajm, a highly anticipated Jewish summer camp in Austria. The challenge was integrating the lengthy camp name and the theme "Bonim Jerushalajm" ("Building Jerusalem") into a cohesive graphic. To address this, I creatively stacked the words, emphasizing "Bonim" (building) and incorporating a drawing of the Western Wall, a symbol of Jerusalem's rich history.

Starting with sketches, I refined the design, ensuring it worked seamlessly in black and white before adding warm, earthy tones reminiscent of Jerusalem's historic charm. The deep, dark blue letters added vibrancy and echoed the colors of the Israeli flag, bridging the old with the new. The final logo, embodying the essence of the camp's theme, was applied to uniquely handprinted shirts for the camp staff, as well as meticulously carved into a stamp.

This project not only challenged my design skills but allowed me to create a visual representation of the camp's identity, capturing the excitement of the campers who eagerly anticipate the annual Machane experience. It was a lot of fun, and the Machane itself later became a special and memorable experience
